The Project was about financial inclusion in the domestic workers community. Here we choose the domestic worker group for the project. We tried to figure out whether this community has their own bank account or not, whether they use their bank account on a regular basis or not, whether they know about the government schemes which are related to finance, whether they have their ATM card or not.
In this project we choose the upper depot area in Kondhwa Pune City, where all these domestic workers live. After a round of discussion with the women’s of this area we got know that some women’s have their bank account and some women’s doesn’t have their own bank account. Many women don’t know about the financial government schemes which are made for them by the government.
With the help of these questions and their answers we can work on a communication model for these communities so that they can use their bank account for their benefit they can get financially stable and know about the government schemes which are made for them.
